So Cal CEC is a collaborative network of physical therapist (PT) and physical therapist assistant (PTA) programs and the clinical facilities that support student clinical education through internships.

*This organization was formerly known as Intercollegiate Academic Clinical Coordinators Council (IACCC) and retains all the same functionality and clinical partnerships.

To develop and support clinical collaboration between physical therapy academia and the clinical community and to promote excellence by enhancing the quality and efficiency of clinical education through coordination of activities and sharing ideas.

Interested in becoming a Credentialed clinical instructor (CI)?

APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program (CCIP) is designed for licensed PTs/PTAs working in clinical settings who would like to develop their clinical teaching skills.

CCIP participants explore different aspects of the clinical learning environment and acquire skills and techniques necessary to provide a structured and effective learning environment for students.
